Duval County Public Schools Achieves Record-High Graduation Rates with Data-Driven Success 

Duval County Public Schools (DCPS) has reached a historic milestone, achieving a 95.3% graduation rate for traditional high schools and a 90.9% comprehensive rate, including charter schools and alternative programs. For the first time, the district has surpassed the state average in years without waived testing requirements. 

This achievement is the result of a decade-long commitment to integrating data and analytics into the educational ecosystem. With the support of MCG’s SAS analytics solution, DCPS has been able to harness actionable insights to drive targeted interventions, support at-risk students, and build strategies that make a tangible difference. 

Milestones Achieved: 

• A 32-point increase in graduation rates since 2009, outpacing the state’s 21-point growth. 

• Record-high graduation rates for all student subgroups, including African American, Hispanic, Low Socioeconomic Status, Exceptional Student Education, and English Language Learners.
